Welcome to Kim Soles Designs and Hand Crafted Products
Kim's design work has always been a labor of love along with her desire to portray nature through wearable art. Kim worked as an accessory designer in New York City from 1996-2001. Her designs sold at Henri Bendel, Barneys New York and the American Folk Art Museum. Her women's fashion and hair accessories were represented by the Couture Cafe in New York City who sold her whimsical one-of-a-kind pieces to upscale boutiques throughout the US and Canada. Her work appeared in WWD (Women's Wear Daily), Mirabella, Brides, and Seventeen publications. After her move to Philadelphia, Kim designed for Anthropologie from 2006 - 2012. She created original embroidered, painted and embellished - aprons, dishtowels, greeting cards, rugs and more for the home decor' department. Kim began the Trillium Fiddlehead line of stitched wearable clothing for girls and women in 2013 - made from repurposed sweaters and garments. Kim finds sewing and crocheting a perfect balance to technology.
